During the holiday season, it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the season and forget some of the little things – like how lucky we are to have food to prepare our families’ Thanksgiving Dinners. Not everyone is that fortunate, and we always want to show gratitude for our many gifts by doing as much as we can for those in need. At this time of the year (and all year round), members of our Home Tax Solutions team like to go out into our communities to do volunteer work. The week before Thanksgiving, our Dallas team had the chance to help those at risk of hunger in the DFW Metroplex to get the food they need to share Thanksgiving meals with their families.

On November 15th, the Dallas office team of Home Tax Solutions had the opportunity to share our joy and donate our team to help others in our community this holiday season. We volunteered with the Jewish Family Services of Greater Dallas in their food pantry. We spent a day with their team and clients stocking shelves and assisting those in need with finding their groceries for the holidays. It was a great way to spend the day, and we loved having the opportunity to provide a small offering of gratitude and thanks this holiday season.

We know that not everyone in Texas is as lucky as we are when it comes to the family and support we receive every day. For that reason, it’s important to lend a hand to those in our communities, both near and far. We cherish the small amount of time we were able to spend with the Jewish Family Services of Greater Dallas team last week.
